I’m a 23 year old Gooner living in Crouch End, North London, and still irrevocably in love with football. I thought I would share my thoughts on the Arsenal going into Unai Emery’s second season at the club, and on football and the experience of being a football fan more generally – I hope you enjoy!

As a working person, I unfortunately no longer have time to watch as much football as I used to during my misspent teenagehood, and so my opinions on players & clubs playing outside of the Premier League are likely to be fairly undeveloped. To try and inculcate a more reliable way of assessing the quality of players who we don’t get to watch regularly, I can recommend the methodology used by a friend of mine who runs a blog called Scouting Prospects – and I’ll try to seek out other authorities on European football when I can to make up for the gap in my personal knowledge!
